Hi, I'm Alex.

I was born in Italy, but I grew up in the Philippines. Back in 2015, I moved back to Rome- my place of birth and began my career as an English teacher. Ten years later, I decided it was time for a new adventure, which is how I found myself at IH Torres Vedras. I have both CELTA and TEFL qualifications and I completed the IH Certificate in Teaching Young Learners.

Teaching people of different ages has honed my skills in dealing with the most varied personalities and linguistic capabilities they have. Plus, being of mixed background myself allows me easily relate to people from all walks of life. I also believe that as teachers, we learn a lot from our students.

Outside work, I can be spotted doing one or more of the following things: traveling, doing yoga, reading, making concoctions in my kitchen or embarking on a random fitness challenge.
