Hi, I'm Carla.

I am both Spanish and English and have lived and studied in both countries. Now, I am making Portugal my home. Due to my background, I have always been interested in learning languages and teaching, as this also runs in my family. In 2022, I completed my CELTA at IH Madrid and since then have enjoyed working with young learners of all levels.

I find teaching to be immensely fulfilling and love to explore ways to be creative in the classroom. I have learnt a lot not only from my students but also from my colleagues who have always inspired me. I’m part of the amazing team at IH Torres Vedras, a school with a strong sense of community.

In my free time I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, spending time with loved ones and visiting new places. I also love going to the beach and surfing.
